It is good to see the Noble Ones;

to live with them is always a pleasure;

not seeing fools is also always a pleasure.

見聖人快得依附快得離愚人爲善獨快

귀인들을 보니 좋고

그들과 함께 살아가니 늘 기쁨이네.

어리석은 이들을 보지 않는 것 또한 늘 기쁨이네. (206)

Health is the highest gain.

Contentment is the greatest wealth.

The trusted are the best kinsmen.

Nirbana is the highest bliss.

無病最利知足最富厚爲最友泥洹最快

건강이 가장 높은 이득이요,

만족해하는 것은 가장 큰 재산이네.

신뢰 받는 사람이 최상의 친족이요,

열반이 최고의 행복이네. (204)

Lust is a fire / 강한 욕망은 불과 같다

There is no fire like lust, no crime like hate.

There is no ill like the body, no bliss higher than Peace(Nirbana).

熱無過淫毒無過怒苦無過身樂無過滅

강한 욕망보다 위험한 불이 없고

증오만한 죄악은 없네.

육체만한 괴로움이 없고

평화(涅槃)보다 높은 행복은 없네. (202)
